Indexing IDX pages - good or bad - and best practices

Is it good or bad to add a single property page with every listing in the MLS on my web site?

If I do add one, when a listing expires, what is the best way to handle it? Do I change the page to have 'This listing is no longer available' and remove the content, 301 redirect to the home page, a landing page etc?

It seems like I should 301 redirect to a landing page and then NOINDEX the landing page.

What is the best way to do this for SEO?
