PINE TREE CAMP OF ROME, MAINE HONORED BY WATER ASSOCIATION

Freeport and Rome, Maine -

FREEPORT, Maine ? Maine Rural Water Association (MRWA) recently honored Pine Tree Camp, a program of Pine Tree Society, for the Association?s annual Outstanding Small Water System award. The award and recognition was for Pine Tree Camp?s commitment to compliance with the Federal Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA) Safe Drinking Water Act and the Maine Drinking Water Program?s Safe Drinking Water Rules. Each year, MRWA recognizes various Maine drinking water systems for their hard work and commitment to providing safe drinking water and quality service to their customers. Awards and recognitions are presented at MRWA?s Annual Water and Wastewater Technical Conference, held in December of each year. Pine Tree Camp was honored during the December 6, 7 and 8th, 2011 conference held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport.

Pine Tree Camp is an extraordinary camp for children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities. The camp was established in 1945 as a summer therapy outlet for children with disabilities. Over the years, this camp has evolved into an innovative barrier-free environment offering three (3) seasons of fully accessible recreation to Maine children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. They are Maine?s only American Camping Association-Accredited camp for people with disabilities and they are very proud of this credential.

In presenting the award, MRWA?s Tom Bahun praised Pine Tree Camp?s for their outstanding commitment to deliver safe and reliable drinking water to their campers. Harvey Chesley, Director of Facilities Management for Pine Tree Camp, accepted the award in the presence of many other public and private water & wastewater systems from across Maine, numerous town and city officials and numerous state and federal agency representatives.

The Maine Rural Water Association is a private non-profit that provides training and technical assistance to Maine?s community water systems and wastewater utilities. MRWA trains over 1200 water and wastewater operators annually.

THE MATCHUP
GAME #35
Dec 28th, 2011

@
(22-8-4) _________ (17-15-2)

7:30 PM ET
VERIZON CENTER - WASHINGTON, D.C.
VERSUS (HD) | TSN2 (HD)

QUOTES TO NOTEObviously, Del Zotto's playing really good, he?s very good offensively. Right now, everything is going for him. That first goal was pretty amazing.
I think, as a team, a lot of players are going right now. That?s what you want, everybody to chip in and do their job.
- Anton Stralman

We feel very comfortable playing at home. We know what we have to do. It doesn?t matter who we play, if it?s a top team or a team that?s struggling a little bit, we just know how we have to play.
Our structure is protecting us when we have tough moments during the game. They kept coming pretty hard but our structure saved us a little bit.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Being number 1 in the standings doesn?t mean anything to me. How many games have we played, 34 games? I don?t care about Boston or anybody else.
We haven?t even gone halfway through the year and I think that?s a key component of our mindset is just to take it a day at a time.
- John Tortorella

Let's keep it going. We're good enough to put away a struggling team, so homefully we get it done.

Honestly, outside of the top line absolutely NOTHING about this Washington team scares me. 3 other mediocre lines. A mediocre defense with JOHN FREAKIN ERSKINE on the #1 d pairing? That is just beyond sad.

A win against Washington or Florida will satisfy me. Want both obviously, but if we can go into the WC with 50 points (Holy ****, am I talking about the NY Rangers???), I'll be very happy.

Keep it going. Caps have only 10 wins in 27 games after that 7-0-0 start. They do play well at home, 1 of the better home records in East. This will be a hard game.

We may come back to the pack with this one tonight, boys. I don't want 'em to, but I think they need some sorta wake up call before the WC..right? I mean, they can't go into Philly with a NINE game winning streak, and be going for 10 in a row..can they???

Ah, **** it..why can't they? LGR!!!!

7:30 start and 24/7 at 10. looks like we're gonna end up missing some of 24/7.

Hopefully it isn't a close game. If either team is up by a few goals near the end of the game I'll be ok with switching to 24/7.

Think I might watch 24/7 first to get pumped up for this one. Would hate to watch this episode (which can only show us winning the past week) after a loss. Hopefully the streak will continue.

Old/new division rivals. I don't expect the Caps hate to go down soon.

Let's get number 6 and bury them. We've played them well in Washington during the regular season lately.

unlike most i'm a huge fan of the every 4-5 games a year that are versus exclusive. It's nice to hear some different announcers on the call
